"I’m a total newbie, lol but definitely have been practicing my casting I had gotten the second one for a friend that is an avid fly guy. He said this rod is the best for using on the Kayak less chance of high sticking and snapping looking forward to getting false albacore,and some bass on the flats!!"
"I’ve had my seven weight for three or four years now. caught everything from 8 inch Brooktrout to 30+ inch striper This rod is a beast. I’ve had the opportunity to fish much “higher end” rods and I would still pick this up every time it is an all around no BS workhorse If you fish streamers and you don’t have at least one of these in the arsenal you are doing yourself a real disservice Leaving this review because I’m looking to add another one of the seven weights and one of the nine weights to the quiver Kayak, wading, the shore it’s never disappointed makes me feel like I know what I’m doing. Cannot speak highly enough of this rod if mine could talk, it would never shut the F up"
